Nelly has been arrested for alleged drug possession of ecstasy
Rapper Nelly was arrested Wednesday morning (August 7) in St. Louis, Missouri.
According to online arrest records, he was arrested at 4:45 am and taken into custody at the Maryland Heights Police Department before eventually being released.

The rapper was arrested for allegedly possessing four ecstasy pills and for driving without insurance.
The ‘Hot in Herre’ singer, whose real name is Cornell Iral Haynes Jr., also reportedly had an outstanding traffic summons.
No further details on Nelly’s arrest have since been reported and Missouri’s online court records system show no recent charges filed against the rapper.
