Tributes from her friends have begun to pour in for the Scottish student
The identity of the 19-year-old who died after falling from a sixth-floor balcony has been revealed and tributes have begun to flood in.
Scottish teenager Emma Ramsay was on holiday with her friends and hoping to make the most of her stay in the renowned Ibiza party area zone in San Antonio.
However, the Strathclyde University undergraduate tragically died after falling off a balcony on the sixth floor of Hotel Vibra District at 3 AM on August 20.
Medics were quickly called and attempted to save the life of Emma but were unsuccessful and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Social media posts show the teenager was enjoying her night out with her friends at Hï Ibiza night club only a few hours before the incident.

The students’ parents have already flown out to the Balearic Island.
Her friends have taken to social media expressing their anguish at losing Emma in such tragic circumstances.
Emma’s friend Paris Mcgoldrick wrote on Facebook: “I don’t even know where to begin with how perfect our Emma was. I loved everything about you and I forever will.
“Heaven just gained the most beautiful angel they will ever get and I’m forever grateful to call you my friend. I will forever cherish the moments we shared together, Em.”
Tributes have also come from Emma’s former teachers at her old school, St John Ogilvie High School. She has been described as being “incredibly kind” and a diligent teen.
Lorna Lawson, the headteacher of the school said: “We are shocked and saddened at the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of our former Head Girl, Emma Ramsay.
“Emma was an incredibly kind, hardworking, bright and talented pupil who contributed a great deal to our school community.”
She added: “Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. Emma will be missed and will forever hold a special place in our school.”
“Emma was a lovely girl, caring and considerate and many of our staff have truly fond memories of her time with us.”
Even the teenager’s primary school headteacher, Colette Watson, also commented on her untimely passing. Showcasing just how far reaching her influence was.
She added: “This is terribly sad news, and our thoughts, prayers and profound sympathies go out to Emma’s family and friends.”
