Juvenile had a run in with American Airlines staff this week
Rapper Juvenile got into a heated debated with airplane staff this week that led to him storming off a flight.
The American Airlines flight, which boarded on Wednesday, was heading from New Orleans to Dallas.
Juvenile, whose real name is Terius Gray, took to his first class seat alongside his wife Shadonna Jones.
But after crew members attempted to downgrade the rapper to coach, things kicked off.

“Y’all hear this?” Juvenile said in an Instagram Live on board the plane.
“Man, they trying to kick me off the plane. They trying to take me off of first class,” he added.
Juvenile’s wife was not asked to move seat by the American Airlines staff, as she could be heard saying in the background: “I’m his wife, so how can you downgrade him and I could still stay?”
Meanwhile, as tensions rose, Juvenile added: “You ain’t going to put me in no coach. This ain’t never happened to me in my life.”
The rapper then went on to tell crew members they would regret picking him out, saying: “I’m a celebrity. There’s going to be repercussions for this because I’ma get off the plane. I’m not going to let y’all disrespect me like that.
“I’m not going to let y’all choose me out of all the people on the plane and disrespect me, so I’m going to get off the plane. You ain’t going to disrespect me.”
Instead of moving, Juvenile decided to disembark the plane with his wife, though he did not go quietly.

“Out of all the people on the plane, y’all done picked a celebrity,” the 49-year-old said on the way out.
Ever after he left the plane, Juvenile was left fuming with American Airlines.
“F*** American Airlines. All the money I spent with you b***he’s,” he said in a second clip posted to Instagram.
“They gon’ try to put me in coach, motherf****r? I ain’t never flew coach. I feel played.”
American Airlines say the rapper was not intentionally targeted, but instead chosen by an automated process.

The flight was downgraded from an Airbus A320 to an Airbus A319, meaning fewer First Class seats were available than originally planed.
An American Airlines spokesperson told UNILAD: “American Airlines strives to provide a positive experience to every traveler and we apologize for Mr. Gray’s recent experience with us.
“An unplanned change in aircraft type affected his seat assignment, and we regret he wasn’t notified prior to boarding. A member of our team has spoken with Mr. Gray personally to resolve the situation.”
