Athos Salomé reckons he’s still on track for a clean sweep by the end of 2024
It looks like a few sceptics might owe the man who has been dubbed the ‘Living Nostradamus’ an apology, as he claims that four of his predictions for 2024 have already come true.
And seen as though we’ve still got a few months left to go, Athos Salomé reckons he’s still on track for a clean sweep too.
But the Brazilian parapsychologist – who claims to have correctly predicted 2020’s global coronavirus pandemic and the death of the Queen in 2022 – is growing a bit bored of people doubting his alleged psychic abilities.
Although he isn’t after any ‘unnecessary personal accolades’ or worldwide adoration for sharing his forecasts for the future, the 37-year-old at least wants a pat on the back for them.

“My predictions are not coincidences,” Athos told the Daily Star. “They are grounded and come true.”
He complained that other so-called psychics often ‘present themselves as the originators of these ideas’ when he’s the one who deserves the credit – and Athos reckons his track record so far this year speaks for itself.
So, without further ado, let’s dig into the four prophecies which he claims have come to fruition from his list of seven predictions for 2024.
World War III
According to Athos, the world was heading for all-out war this year.
In 2023, he claimed that WWIII was an ‘urgent reality’ which we all needed to come to terms with, while speculating that it would be triggered by an event in China or by a major cyber attack between China and Russia.
The ‘Living Nostradamus’ said at the time: “I have already said, and it is clear to everyone, that it will be one step away from a full-scale third world war.”
And according to him, his bet was bang on.
“This was prophetic and in 2024 it became so real when the prediction was made,” Athos said. “This regional tension is a reflection of my words and brings out the point that territorial issues are a reason for big world wars.”
He believes that China and the US flexing their military muscles proves that the ‘situation is getting more and more volatile’, adding that the globe is ‘poised on the edge of catastrophic war’.
Natural disasters
Athos also warned the world to brace for a whole host of natural disasters last year, and it’s safe to say he was spot on.

There has been wacky weather in every corner of the globe over the last 12 months, but more specifically, the Living Nostradamus predicted that the Philippines, Vietnam and some regions of China would be hit the hardest.
Athos has now claimed that he was right on the money, pointing to Typhoon Yagi to prove his point.
The storm has left over 150 dead and wreaked havoc across the three nations which he previously mentioned.
“The typhoon had winds in excess of 93mph causing devastating floods and landslides with casualties and major destruction of structures,” the self-proclaimed psychic explained.
“I said that more and worse cases of the event would occur, and going by the observed natural disasters this year, I was right. The increase of these events deepens the discussion on climate change and the poor readiness of countries for the consequences of climate change.”
Space race
According to Athos, global superpowers such as China, Russia and the US would be recreating the 20th-century space race in 2024, although obviously, they’d be battling it out for another prize.
The bloke who can supposedly see into the future predicted that an asteroid which was ‘abundant in rich materials’ would turn up, which in turn would inspire the countries to compete for cosmic resources.
He reckons that this must have been connected to the small asteroid which NASA announced had disintegrated over the coast of the Philippines earlier this month.
Athos said as well as ‘taking everyone by surprise’, it also ‘highlighted advances in the ability to monitor small celestial bodies close to Earth’.
He continued: “Although the event didn’t pose a threat, the growing attention to space objects reflects my prediction of a new era of space exploration and competition.
“This race to discover cosmic secrets could easily turn into an arena of geopolitical rivalry, as I predicted.”
Technology
As well as having plenty to say about artificial intelligence, Athos had several theories about other technological advancements which would take place in 2024.

He believed that Apple would put a new Vision Pro headset on the market which could allow the user to enter various different dimensions, while also suggesting augmented and virtual reality would become a lot more lifelike.
Although he didn’t exactly hit the nail on the head, he reckons he was close enough and pointed to the ‘Hauntify’ app which is currently sweeping social media.
The mixed-reality app allows people to ‘turn their entire house into a horror game and experience evil spirits that will hunt them down’ – and it’s pretty terrifying, to be honest.
Athos continued: “This is not just a prediction, but it is happening with the release of Hauntify, a mixed-reality app that appeals to a user’s fear sensors to create a paranormal experience.
“Hauntify is an excellent example of the real-to-virtual experience, which allows users to get into places with something of the spooky world.
“My vision is something that can also be seen in the concept of Hauntify, which is the reshaping of the common perception of reality.”
