The recall notice includes both the 25g and 100g sizes of the dip
Domino’s Pizza has been forced to withdraw two of their popular dips amid allergy concerns.
No Domino’s takeaway is complete without coating a slice in their famous dipping sauce. Most of us will likely be fans of the iconic Garlic & Herb dip, which is almost as famous as the company itself, that comes complimentary with every pizza. Meanwhile others may prefer to douse their slices with more understated options such as Honey & Mustard, BBQ or Red Hot.
However, the pizza giant has now recalled their Garlic & Herb and Honey & Mustard dips over concerns of a potential allergy contamination.

Concerns came to light over the weekend when a customer shared a screenshot of an email she’d received from Domino’s about the recall on social media, adding that she’d suffered an ‘itchy mouth’ earlier in the week after consuming one of the dips.
“Hi @Dominos_UK, please say you’re going to shout about this on social media as well as burying this in people’s emails,” the user wrote on X, alongside a screenshot of the email.
“I was wondering why I had an itchy mouth and felt sick after dipping my pizza in one of these last week, and other people’s allergies aren’t as mild as mine.”
It’s unclear how many people received the email, which informed customers the pizza chain were aware ‘that some of our Garlic and Herb dip and Honey and Mustard dip may contain traces of peanut.’
The email then urged anyone with a peanut allergy to immediately dispose of the 100g Big Dip pots and smaller 25g pots which come with pizzas.
A spokesperson for Dominos has since told LADbible: “At the weekend, we discovered that some batches of Domino’s Pizza Garlic & Herb and Honey & Mustard dips contained traces of peanut which could pose a risk for people with peanut allergies.

“We have withdrawn all these dips from sale, and ask any customers who have people in their household with peanut allergies not to consume and instead dispose of any of these dips that they have at home.”
The statement added: “Domino’s takes food safety very seriously and we are working urgently with our supplier to understand how this happened and ensure it doesn’t happen again.
“There will be disruption to the supply of dips in the coming days while we wait for new supplies to arrive and appreciate customers’ understanding during this time.”
