Lawyer Nanci Danison ironically reckons that her death was when she actually ‘woke up’
A woman who claims to have entered a ‘third state’ of being where she lingered between life and death after passing away on the operating table has revealed exactly what she experienced.
Doctors suspected Nanci Danison might have breast cancer and she was waiting for a biopsy to confirm the diagnosis, but in the meantime, surgeons scheduled her in for a procedure to remove the suspicious lump.
But she ended up suffering a fatal reaction to the anaesthetic which medics administered, seeing her die on the operating table in 1994 – but ironically, she reckons that’s when she actually ‘woke up’.
The 74-year-old, from Ohio, told the Daily Mail that this event ‘changed everything’ for her, as it brought her to the conclusion that everything she had achieved in life wasn’t worth much on the other side.
She was a partner at a huge law firm, had earned three degrees and was raking in a decent amount of dosh – but she was working six day weeks, waking up at night due to work stress.
Nanci usually only saw her husband for dinner on Fridays and for breakfast on Sundays, so they ended up divorcing five years after getting hitched, and she had no children.

The devout Catholic, who touts herself as a ‘truth seeker’, explained that when her heart stopped beating, she had no idea what was happening, but ‘did not lose one moment of awareness’ while her body was failing.
She told the outlet that she remained ‘conscious’ throughout death, crossing over and in the afterlife.
According to Nanci, she then suddenly realised she was stuck in limbo somewhere ‘between incarnation and the afterlife’, which is where she was reunited with her friends and loved ones who had passed away.
But she describes them as taking on the form of ‘Light Beings’ rather than humans, adding that they were able to remember her life.
The lawyer recalled how she saw a detailed ‘documentary-type’ history of Earth, as well as her body lying on the operating table, while she was also hyperaware of a ‘Light’.
She became overwhelmed by a slew of ‘burning questions’ she had about our reality, religion, life and death, and was ‘angry’ that she had not learned the answers before she died – but other emotions soon washed this away.

“I went into the Light, was completely saturated with unconditional love, bliss, and acceptance,” Nanci said. “I literally merged my Energy and being into my five Light Being friends, so that I could experience their physical lifetimes.”
She compared this alleged experience to a ‘more sophisticated’ virtual reality game, explaining that she and her pals then moved through an ‘Energy Field’ which she has a special name for, ‘Source’.
Nanci added: “Others call it God, Yahweh, Allah, the Creator, etc. While deeper inside the Source phenomenon’s Energy Field, I watched Creation of our universe as the meaning and purpose of life were explained to me by Source itself.”
It then dawned on her that she was also part of the Source – and so is every other human being – as we are all ‘simply playing a role similar to how we currently play roles in our dreams’.
“I was shown that I had never been separated from Source and was in fact an integrated part of its consciousness and self-awareness that had merely temporarily inhabited a human animal,” the lawyer continued.
“The purpose of life is to allow Source to experience the feelings and sensations of the universe it created comparable to how we experience our dreams through the dream-character version of ourselves.
“When our bodies die, we simply wake up from the dream of human life and resume living spiritual life in what we call the afterlife.”

These experiences ‘upended’ Nanci’s life when she finally regained consciousness and prompted her to overhaul every area of it – seeing her leave the law firm, open her own solo practice and trying to ‘be more loving’.
She went on to write several books about her experience because this wasn’t her only dance with death, as she became seriously ill again in 2001 and says she was warned that ‘extremely difficult’ times were coming by her Light Beings pals.
Nanci recalled: “Despite what they told me about my future, I chose to stay in human form. I did not want to be a failure at the mission Source gave me, to tell everyone what I learned in the afterlife.
“You will be going HOME to your true home, to unconditional love and acceptance. Remember that you will leave all the pain and sorrow behind when you go but will take with you all the love and cherished memories.
“I learned that we split ourselves between incarnation and the afterlife. Your loved ones exist not only in human life but also in the afterlife, regardless of whether they have died. You will not be leaving anyone behind.”
