The price has left people shocked
A mum has revealed the staggering cost of spending one day at Universal Studios Florida for a family.
Miranda Pearce, (@mirandapearce), took her two children to the popular attraction in Orlando and documented their fun day out in a TikTok video.
She unveiled the eye-watering bill at the end of the day, which included many basic expenses such as parking and food.
“Guess how much we spent in one day at Universal Studios Florida – wait for the end, you ain’t gonna believe it,” the 41-year-old, who is from Sandbach, said.

Miranda began her video with a clip of the family getting food at a drive-thru. The order came to a total of $21.79 for three breakfast combos, including drinks.
She told her followers: “This is us getting breakfast at Wendy’s first of all, which was $21. Then we go for parking at Universal: $27.”
The mum-of-two then proceeded to show the $19 drink she purchased for her son, revealing that it was at least refillable.
The family met King Julian from hit film Madagascar, before heading out for lunch, where they splashed out $62.79 on three bacon cheeseburgers and fries, as well as a chicken Caesar salad.
Miranda then revealed the expensive Harry Potter Gryffindor journal they’d picked up at the theme park.
“This was the only souvenir we bought at Harry Potter World… $42 plus the pen. Then, later in the afternoon, we got ice cream and fake smiles. This is $19. And I got a coffee because I was fading fast by that point – $4,” she added.
Next up was the Fast and Furious ride, before heading off for dinner. Fortunately, as the family opted for Burger King, their dinner was less pricey than their lunch.

“Then we paid for dinner – not too bad: $34 at Burger King,” Miranda added.
She then showed all of the receipts from the the day and proceeded to count everything up to get to a total.
She continued: “Oh my God, you guys… $483 for the tickets and $396 for the fast passes – I ain’t waiting around in any queue with a six-year-old. Would you have paid that? Total of $1,113.40.”
However, that wasn’t the entire total. In the caption, Miranda added: “That’s not even including tips.”
Her TikTok video racked up thousands of likes and comments, with many vowing to never visit Universal Studios Florida due to the extravagant prices.
One commented: “Sounds like a complete rip off, but I’m glad you had a good time,” while a second said: “Cheaper to get a room overnight and you get two days express passes inc.”
Others shared money-saving tips, with one writing: “14 days at Disney a few weeks back and spent just over $1,000 in total! Backpack, flasks, snacks, Walmart deliveries. Mainly to save queuing!”
Someone else said: “1 rucksack, flask of coffee, sandwiches and snacks and sweets. Forget fast pass, go to far end of park where it’s quieter and work towards front of park.”
