And TikTokers are raving about a spot that’s been dubbed the perfect ‘Lapland alternative’ for people who don’t want to shell out thousands on a festive break, with Brits sharing snippets of their travels to the ‘winter wonderland’ which looks nothing short of magical.
One traveller by the name of @pialessing shared some of the festive activities on offer at the European city (which is currently offering flights for just £66) and we already feel warm and fuzzy inside.
In the video, the social media influencer lists ‘chasing the Northern Lights’, ‘visiting a reindeer farm’, and ‘swimming in the arctic’ as the best activities to do there.
Followers rushed to express their excitement in the comments. One wrote, “So many cool things to do!!! Added them to my bucket list.”
Another panicked about the secret getting out, as they wrote: “Stop giving away Tromso to the world. Let’s keep it a secret.”
A third added: “I miss Tromso! Would recommend going husky sledding too.” OK, that’s going on the list too.
