The athlete’s mishap has gone absolutely viral online
Ever since he stepped onto the podium on August 3, fans can’t stop talking about Anthony Ammirati’s package.
The French pole vaulter was gearing up to clear the 5.70 meters jump on Saturday when his knee — along with his bulge — got in the way and hindered his performance.
Viewers were quick to notice the mishap, and the real, well-endowed reason behind it, with Ammirati failing to qualify for the next round and coming in 12th place.

An offer from a porn site and a thousand memes later, Ammirati’s making another round of discourse online yet again as viewers have spotted the athlete’s hilariously poignant tatto
It seems that the athlete has a tattoo of a long snake wrapped around his forearm, and the jokes are writing themselves.
“Anthony Ammirati will never have to explain the forearm tattoo again. Message received and understood,” one user wrote on Twitter.
“Never forget: This is the moment when the tattoo made sense,” they added.
Following the initial incident on Saturday, Ammirati reflected on the blunder to the French Athletics Federation sharing, “I’m a bit gutted, because I didn’t miss anything on the third attempt at 5.70 m. What I did miss was a bit of jumping in training to fine-tune the settings. Just a technical session.
“I was 100 percent physically, but I was missing a bit of pole vault.
“The conditions were good. It’s the first time I’ve started a competition without any stress. As I was a total outsider, I only had one goal: to interact with the audience. I was almost there.”
He added: “I’m just glad I can make people smile and laugh. And who knows, maybe this will be the start of something amazing!”
More to come.
